About Us

The ToolShed is made up of 16 stores throughout New Zealand.  Its’ target market is the serious do-it-yourselfer and light industrial trade market.  The group was formed in April 1998 with two stores and has progressed at a rapid rate with the aim of bringing on the local person with trade knowledge.  This in turn can be conveyed on to our customers providing them with the right tool for the job they had in mind.  Your local ToolShed operators are made up of electricians, mechanics, welders, power tool repair people and general tool fanatics.

Your local ToolShed stocks a great range of hand tools, power tools, workshop equipment, air tools, outdoor tools and more.  Our target market is any tools that are in your tool shed or garage.  If we haven’t got it we’ll have a good go at getting it for you.  The ToolShed deals directly with the importer and has the ability to bulk buy enabling us to pass the savings on to you.
