WELCOME BACK IN STORE!

With yesterday’s government announcement that we will be moving to Alert Level 2, we are pleased to advise that customers will be able to enter our stores as of Thursday 14th May.
 
We assure you that our stores have been operating according to the Ministry of Health guidelines and will continue to do so ensuring the safety of our staff and customers.

  • We will continue to keep a contact register or contact tracing records of customers who visit us in store.
  • We ask that you maintain physical distancing of one metre between groups of customers and our staff.
  • We will continue to practice good hygiene measures, hand washing and regularly cleaning surfaces.
  • We ask that anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms to please stay away from our premises and contact us either online or by phoning your local store.

The ToolShed thanks everyone for supporting our kiwi owned business during the lockdown period by purchasing via our web store or online ordering facility.

YES! Your Kiwi Owned ToolShed is OPEN!
 
From Tuesday 28th April The ToolShed will be OPEN with contactless trading for ALL purchases. We will be operating under strict health and safety guidelines to keep our team and customers safe.
 
Please read how you can safely purchase product from us.
 
ORDER ONLINE with goods DELIVERED to you:
Orders placed online whilst in level 4 lock down can now be released for dispatch. You can continue to order online as normal. There may be some delays with delivery due to the current situation and couriers will remain contactless.
 
ORDER ONLINE and PICK UP in store:
Purchase online and elect to pick up your purchase from your local store. After placing your order please wait for the store to contact you when your order is ready to collect.
 
EMAIL and PHONE orders:
Contact your local store by email or phone to place your order for pick up. We are unable to process payment over the phone or accept cash at this time however payment can be made electronically at the time of collection. Purchases can also be charged to accounts.
 
PICK UP process:
Our team will be following the Ministry of Health guidelines whilst working in store. They will pick your order and contact you when it is available for collection. Unfortunately, customers are unable to enter our stores so need to line up outside the building with 2m social distancing in place. You may request product at the door of the store and our team will then collect and bring it to you. Please note that staff are unable to assist with loading goods into your vehicle and you will need to bring someone to help if necessary. We also need to keep a register of customer contact details and thank you for your co-operation with this.

The ToolShed has now been approved to dispatch essential items and products required by essential services.

Please indicate if your order is essential. All orders will be scrutinised.

If your order is not essential, please select the delayed delivery option and we will dispatch your goods after the lockdown period. Pick up from stores is not available during the lockdown period, but you can request to pick up your goods after this time.

The New Zealand government is raising the COVID-19 threat to level four on Wednesday. As a response The ToolShed will be closing its physical stores to comply with public health and government requirements at 12pm, Wednesday 25th of March.

At this stage, staff have been sent home on full pay. We will reopen to normal trading on Thursday 23rd of April unless advised otherwise.

Our web store will remain open in a limited capacity as part of the supply chain of essential products to building and construction, utilities and communication, automotive repair and other essential industries. Stock is limited and there will be some products that we are unable to supply. For parts enquiries pleasw contact us through our website or Facebook. We will only be able to support enquiries to a reduced degree.

The ToolShed is a family owned and run business, we aim to support the health and safety of the New Zealand public and help preserve our way of life. We urge you to follow the lockdown requirements from the government and together we can all get through this.
