HOW TO ENTER:

Simply purchase ANY product online or in store at The ToolShed. Every $50 spent at The Toolshed from 1 February - 31 March 2021 automatically generates an entry in the draw to win 1 of 2 EGO Electric Motorbikes!!!

There are no restrictions as to the number of entries each Entrant is eligible for.

Every $50 spent = 1 ENTRY IN THE PRIZE DRAW. So, if you purchase more than $100 you have 2 entries, more than $150 you have 3 entries and so on...

The Promotion commences at 12.01 am on 1 February 2021 and closes at Midnight on 31 March 2021 (“Promotion Period”). Entries are strictly valid on purchases between these dates only.

Ensure that you retain your invoice or till receipt as proof of purchase to verify your entry. Loss of this will result in the ineligibility to claim the prize. In the event the qualifying purchases have been placed on a debtors account with the ToolShed, the prize will be the property of the account holder. For purchases to qualify, such debtors account must be paid in full.

“Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the prize draw held on 16 April 2021 ("Prize Draw") or on 30 April 2021 ("Unclaimed Prize Draw").

Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

The Winner will be notified by phone or email within 7 days of the prize draw via the contact details provided. The Winners must respond by 30 April 2021 or the prize will be forfeited and another Winner drawn. Delivery will be determined after discussion with the Winner.

The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If a prize remains unclaimed on 30 April 2021, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the previous prize draw on 16 April 2021 to award a prize. The unclaimed prize Winner will be phoned or emailed on the telephone number or email address submitted within 7 days of the unclaimed prize draw. The new Winner will be subject to the same terms and conditions of this competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any notification that is misdirected, lost, or damaged, or if the prize Winner cannot be contacted due to incorrect details being provided to stores.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:

Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these "Terms and Conditions of Entry." Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as amended or modified from time to time.

This Promotion is not applicable to charge accounts, trade terms or special quotations.

This Promotion is only open to “Eligible Entrants”, being individuals who: (i) are residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older; and (ii) are not employees of the Promoter, The ToolShed or their immediate families or any related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Promotion; and (iii) are not a spouse, defacto partner, parent, child or sibling (whether natural or by adoption) of such an employee; and (iv) are not professionally connected with the Promotion.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and Eligible Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any claimant who submits a redemption that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the redemption process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

By entering this competition, Entrants agree to the use of their name and photograph for promotional/advertising purposes if requested.

Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible claims will be deemed invalid.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered.

Prior to receiving a prize and being declared a Winner, the Entrant may again be required to show proof of identity, e.g. passport or driver’s license and sign a declaration of eligibility and participation agreement, accepting the terms and conditions relating to the use and enjoyment of the Prize and releasing the Promoter and its related companies and each of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability in connection with the Promotion and/or the prize and confirming compliance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry.

Also, the Winner must agree to the use of his or her name, city of residence, and photograph in any and all forms of media, without payment or other compensation in any publicity carried out by Promoter and/or its advertising and promotional agencies.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for death or any personal injury suffered or sustained as consequence participation in the Promotion or as a consequence of the use and enjoyment of any prize.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

All other expenses incurred with any part of the prize are the responsibility of the Winner.

If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to or greater in value as specified herewith in these Terms and Conditions.

The unclaimed prize Winner will be phoned or emailed on the telephone number or email address submitted with their entry within 7 days of the unclaimed prize draw.

Receipts used for entry into the competition are void if stolen, forged, mutilated, or tampered with in any way.

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or Entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

By accepting a prize, the Winner agrees that the Promoter may use his/her name, address and photograph for publicity purposes including but not restricted to on packaging, or in public relations and marketing material via the internet or otherwise.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend Terms and Conditions of this Promotion due to events arising beyond its control.
