Description

ToolShed Inverter Portable MIG/TIG/ARC Welder with Digital Display.

The ToolShed 180 Amp single phase DC Inverter MIG welder has been designed and manufactured for use within the industry and comes packed full of features.

Have you ever been in that situation where you know you need to weld something but have no idea what the correct settings should be? This machine sorts that problem out for you.

With the intelligent electronics and easy to use LCD colour display, you can select from the following welding processes:

- Mild steel MIG welding using gasless wire, CO2 or Argon/CO2 mixed gas
- Aluminium MIG welding with the optional spool gun (TSW20MGUN)
- Stainless steel MIG welding
- DC Tig welding
- DC Arc welding

Click through the menu and it will tell you what the polarity should be and where to connect the leads. Click through again and it will ask you what size MIG wire/Electrodes/Tungsten you have connected. From there it calculates what thickness of material you can weld with those parameters. Once you have selected the material thickness it automatically calculates what current/wire feed speed and voltage you need based on your setup. It is quite impressive.

This setup is great for schools, automotive panel shops, farmers, or anyone that knows how to weld but doesn't do it every day and forgets some of the setup settings.

You can also make fine adjustments to get it perfect and save settings if you use them a lot.

It offers the user a 200-amp DC gas/gasless MIG welder.

Plus - a 180-amp DC Arc welder (lead included)
Plus - a 180-amp DC TIG welder (lead included)

This MIG welder is top of the line. Fitted with a high-quality wire feed system, this machine is very smooth and doesn't encounter the problems often found with cheaper wire feed units. The output current goes as low as 10-amps which makes it ideal for small panel-steel work. Its polarity can also be reversed easily so that gas and gasless wire can be used. It can take 1kg to 5kg spools of MIG wire. With the flick of a switch and attaching the arc lead, this machine can be set up as a full DC arc welder, offering a current range from 10-180 amps, which is suitable for running electrodes from 2 - 3.2mm. This machine also comes with the ability to connect a TIG torch so you can TIG weld from 10-180 amps in DC, suitable for mild steel and stainless steel.

It comes with heavy duty earth leads with dinse (quick change bayonet style) connectors, as well as a 3m 150amp Binzel style Euro fit MIG torch, complete with consumables to get you started. Superior design lets you control all the modes of this machine within seconds.

The rated duty cycle is 15% at 200 Amps and it is fan cooled with over temperature cut out to protect it.

All this is housed in a lightweight package with a carry handle, weighing just 13Kg.

As an optional extra, you can purchase the ToolShed Spool Gun that is compatible with this machine and is ideal for welding aluminium easily (TSW20MGUN).

All ToolShed Inverter welding machines are manufactured with latest inverter technology. They are far more efficient, reliable, faster, and have higher current handling capabilities than transformer and other inverter systems. The ToolShed is very proud of the performance and reliability of our welding machines. We are so confident that we offer a full 36 month manufactures trade warranty on all welders and have full back up and service available to offer you piece of mind.
