The ToolShed 8.5 kVA Generator is designed to peak at 8.5kVA and is fitted with AVR (automatic voltage regulator) to supply a more constant power supply even when under load. This generator is powered by a very reliable 4 stroke OHV petrol engine which has electric start. A 12V charging facility is also a handy feature along with a large 25L fuel tank for extra run time between fills. It is suitable for products, such as microwaves, that don't like voltage fluctuations (not suitable for sensitive electronic equipment such as computers). The ToolShed 8.5kVA Generator is ideal for larger power draw items such as compressors and welders when used on site, as it offers that higher peak current which is needed to start those larger machines. The generator is also fitted with a residual current device (RCD) for greater electrical safety and a heavy duty 32-amp single phase outlet to connect larger machines to. It is also fitted with 2x 15-amp outlets. The ToolShed 8.5kVA generator also features a very strong roll protection cage, solid rubber tyres and fold out handle. This makes it easier to manoeuvre, while helping keep the running noise down and helping protect it from getting damaged.
