    This tool saved my project

    I was having a nightmare of a time trying to get a project right. It’s a simple box with routed shelves but for the life of me I could not get the left hand side to line up.

    Measuring seemed to show no problem until I started measuring from different spots and then I found the problem, one spot that was too large. I decided to change the measurements of all the sides and get them all right and doing this with this rail saw was perfect.

    I can’t get over just how great this saw is and what a watershed moment going from a circ saw with the Accu-Cut from Kreg is. I like the Accu-Cut but this is next level for me (the circ saw I feel was 99% of the problem).

    I have a small workshop and because I live in Taranaki working outside isn’t really an option for me so this lets me rip in a tight space accurately.

    Was looking at the DeWalt and Makita, 3-year warranty and price was the big seller for me. Working on a budget. Easy to set up, cut like a dream. Best tool for ripping large pieces of timber
