    Good machine after initial setup

    For the price, this is a fine little benchtop thicknesser for the home woodworker. However, out of the box, this machine was not cutting flat. The right side was lower than the left by about 0.3mm so the wood was coming out just slightly off. Opening the left side and adjusting the big screw nut did the trick. Now wood comes out 100% flat.

    My advice is, test this thoroughly after purchase and adjust as necessary and before you put through some expensive wood.

    A must have

    I did quite a bit of research on this one. The price is amazing for what you get. It is so convenient having it on its on stand. Because you have to feed it in one end and it comes out the other, I think it would be a pain in a bench like other ones. I don’t have that much clear bench space. Then it has 2 speeds and I struggled to find any that had this anywhere near this price range.

    I had to wait months for the next shipment to come in but it was worth it. I can cut up a pallet, feed it through and I have a smooth piece of wood to work with. Great for arts and crafts.
    I will never regret this addition to my workshop.

    Portable thicknesser

    Great little thicknesser, perfect for preparing boards for not only my hobby work but done plenty for friends/ family as well. Love that it saves me hours of sanding!
