Terms and Conditions of Price Matching

The ToolShed strives to provide Kiwis with the best prices on their tools, accessories and consumables. If you find a lower price on an item held in stock by an authorised New Zealand dealer, we will review the price and endeavour to match it.

Requesting a Price Match

To request a price match, pop into one of our stores with evidence of the lower price. You can also follow the link from on our product pages and fill out the details. We will review the request and get back to you.

Terms and Conditions

Evidence of the lower prices must be provided.
Evidence of the price must be from an authorised New Zealand dealer (‘the Competitor’).
The Competitor’s product must be identical (ie. brand, colour and model number).
The Competitor’s product must in stock at the Competitor.
Price matches may incur delivery costs.

Exclusions

Prices from auctions, stock liquidations, fire sales and marketplaces (Trademe, The Market, Amazon etc).
Proof of price on items in large commercial/trade quantities will not be considered.
Special Order Items or Non-stocked items will not be considered.
Where competitor prices are conditional.
Prices must be available to the general public.
Where the Proof of Price shown has been discounted by the competitor by use of coupons, loyalty rewards, redemption of frequent flyer miles or similar and other offers or incentives to reduce the total cost;
Where the Proof of Price shown has been discounted by the competitor on the basis that the item is a display stock only, end of line, seconds, refurbished/repaired lines, ex demo, limited quantity, clearance, trade or factory seconds, second hand or similar;
Where the Proof of Price shown is the result of an error by the competitor;
To resellers.
Other conditions may apply at The ToolShed’s discretion.
