ToolShed Plate Compactor - 60Kg

The ToolShed 60kg Plate Compactor is powered by a very reliable 7hp, easy to start, 4 stroke petrol engine. The centrifugal clutch helps control the idle and movement of the compactor, which has a forward speed of up to 25m per minute. The plate on this machine measures 370mm wide and is 500mm in length. The exciter runs at 5,500 vibrations per minute, offering an output force of 11,000N which makes this machine ideal for landscapers, builders, and home handy people. Handles are easily folded down for transport and are fitted with rubber shock absorbers for comfortable operation over longer periods. This compactor features wheels that fold under the machine, allowing you to move it around easily.

We also have available as an optional extra, a rubber base mat. This mat is ideal for compacting cobbles, so the steel base doesn't crack or break them. This rubber mat is 5mm thick.

Another optional extra is a water tank. Using water to wet substructure helps with compaction and helps avoid hot mix sticking to the plate when it is being compacted. This tank is easily attached to the front of the compactor by three screws which are provided with the machine.
