    More than an up-grade

    I consider myself to be in the “Serious DIY category” and was looking to replace my old battery drill / driver that I have had and used for years. I bought the TSC19 XHD hammer drill earlier this year and was naively surprised how much more capable it was, both in terms of torque, speed range, hammering functionality etc., and robustness and build quality – it rivals my corded electric drill which I didn’t expect.
    I bought it as a combo (TSCK12) with a TSC5 XHD cordless Impact Driver and two 3Ah batteries as, at the time, that was the most cost-effective way to get two batteries.
    I’ve still to find a use for the Impact Driver so cannot comment too much on that one, except to say it looks and feels like its nest-mate.

    Does what it should

    Great value and does what it should do - batteries are good at holding charge
