    15 hp electric start woodchipper

    I just purchased the electric start, 15 hp chipper and it is exceeding expectations. Early days of course, but sturdy, heaps of power and well designed. John and the Timaru team really looked after me, including putting the chipper together and sending it to Tekapo. It arrived very well packed and perfectly assembled. I'm choosing to limit branch size to around 70 mm...just because it can do 100 mm isn't a reason to push that limit, I feel. Using bigger branches for firewood anyway.

    Chipper

    Bought assembled from Henderson branch, who were very helpful. Starts easy & light enough to move around. I’ve chipped up to 80mm soft wood no problems & the shoot is long enough to take 3m branches. Does not like wet Manuka leafy branches or other large leafed trees & becomes clogged, but not difficult to stop & clean.
    Overall happy to recommend & hopeful it will perform well in the long term.

    Great Service from ToolShed Penrose & Takanini

    This is a great little machine. It started first time once assembled. I had a few issues early on and received great assistance from the folks in Penrose and Takanini. Many thanks.

    This is a small chipper so needs to be fed steadily but is great to take down into otherwise inaccessible places that the bigger towable chippers would not be able top get to.
