    Rivnut tool set M3-M12

Reasonably good at what it does, and has a good leverage ability, with one major flaw - the Mandrel quality...
Comes with a decent selection of zinc coated steel rivnuts - enough to get you going.
Quality is Ok ish. Tool itself seems pretty good quality, although a bit fiddly to setup for each size of rivnut, and thickness of material - you need to take off 3 pieces and pull a spring loaded locking sleeve to change the mandrel size, then put all 3 pieces back on after the new mandrel goes in, then go through the setup process to get the right amount of pull so that it correctly installs the rivnut.
The mandrels are the weak point - especially the M5 mandrel (I'm onto my 3rd M5 mandrel...)
I have used M4 - M8 sized mandrels with Alloy, Zinc coated Steel, and 304 Stainless Rivnuts in the above sizes. M8 is definitely feeling pretty suspect with the Stainless rivnuts - I am not sure it would survive if you tried anything bigger.
As it is the M5 mandrel seems to be the one that keeps failing for me. At $20 per mandrel + $10 shipping it adds up, and is frustrating as when it fails you end up with a partially installed rivnut, which is extremely difficult to remove at the best of times, never mind if the mandrel has snapped off inside the rivnut! (the slightly better failure is the threads on the mandrel totally stripping and pulling out of the rivnut.
With better quality mandrels I would give it 5 stars, but it's a deal breaker for me as i'm using it quite a bit, and it seems its the same piece that is failing over and over which leads me to believe its a design flaw rather than a single quality control issue.
Would recommend the set if you are only using it with softer metal Rivnuts.
