    Pretty good pole saw

I got with this saw for DIY pruning. I had a Ryobi pole saw prior to this that I used with a Makita battery adapter. I was mostly happy with it until I damaged it and Ryobi declined to provide spare parts to repair it.

This Makita is much lighter and slightly more powerful and when on special is not much more expensive. The adjustable head is really useful too. It can be easily disassembled too which means it's easy to store in the shed. I think the chain is a fraction too aggressive and can lead to rough cuts and stalling if not careful. Don't beat on it too hard and it does the job well.
