    Makita 18V Scarifier

    I had one booked in with hire company for the long weekend, it’s was broken down, not a Makita one. So quick check online showed one available at Te Rapa. Quick run to shop, where the team are always great to deal with. How did the scarifier go, very impressed, I took my time, let the blades do the work, went over the area several times in different directions. Did a great job, I used two 5aH batteries over an area of about 80 square meters. But it was working on the deepest setting. Great job no issues, and I will get the optional de-hatching head to go with it. It took me 90mins to do a days work manually with the hand held scarifier.
