    *NOT* compatible with Airlock system

    *Forget* connecting this to a shop vac or dust extractor without some kind of kludge. It's NOT compatible with Dewalt's Airlock system. The DWV9000 connector does NOT fit and if you get some callipers and measure the OD of the sander's outlet port groove where the Airlock adapter's bearings are supposed to fit, as well as the OD of the port, the sander's outlet is 0.5mm to 0.75mm *larger* than other Dewalt tools like say, a circular saw. I've wasted a couple of days on this nonsense. The tool's description contains a complete untruth, and I regret buying the sander. Should've gone with nearly ANY OTHER BRAND which, unlike Dewalt, makes connecting the most dust-hazardous tool in the shop EASY to connect to ANY shop vac.
