High performance Brushless motor delivers more power, higher torque and longer run times – up to 50% longer runtime than a traditional brushed motor.
HiKOKI’s unique AUTO mode adjusts the speed automatically between high and low speeds depending on the load – reducing noise and vibration in no-load operation.

- Electronic brake system stops the blade less than 3 sec.

- Anti-Kickback & Overload Protection stops the grinder in the event of a “Jam” or sudden drop in wheel rotation speed during operation or excessive pressure on the tool.
- Restart protection disables motor from restarting if a battery is inserted with the switch in the ON position
- Variable speed dial with AUTOmode
- Soft-Start reduces the reactive force generated at motor start up reducing the load to the operator
- Detachable filters minimises internal damage caused by the ingress of foreign objects into the motor
- Non-lockable Paddle switch improves user safety, commonly known as a “Deadman Safety Switch”.
