The ToolShed 40A Plasma cutter is a great workshop machine which also has the portability to be an on site machine.
Featuring a variable amperage of 20 - 40 Amps this machine will cut up to 12mm in mild steel. It will also cut aluminum, stainless steel and a host of other metals.
This machine comes with heavy duty dinse connectors (quick change bayonet style) and standard fittings, 4 metre long PT31 plasma torch along with extra tips and electrodes to get you started.
The rated duty cycle is 60% at 40 Amps. It is fan cooled with an over temperature cut out to protect the machine from over heating.
The 40 Amp high frequency touch start (where the arc literally jumps to the work piece!) plasma cutter has the ability to give a nice clean cut of up to 12mm in mild steel.
This machine with all these fine features is housed in a light weight carry case weighing just 8kg. This machine also features a handy carry handle which enables it to be carried around easily.
