ToolShed metal cut off wheels are manufactured to strict international standards and comply with Australian standard AS1788.1. For your own safety never buy discs that don't comply. These discs are manufactured from white alumina (WA) and are iron free which makes them ideal for both steel and stainless steel cutting. The extra thin profile allows the wheels to cut faster, cleaner and they exert a lighter load on your grinder.

When put to the test (using a 125mm disc) on 2mm thick 30mm x 30mm angle iron we got 28 cuts as opposed to Flexovit (29 cuts) and Dronco (31 cuts), compare the price per cut. ToolShed discs stand up to the quality of the worlds most famous discs, but you can get them at a massively reduced cost.
