    Good little lathe for a beginner

    I purchased this lathe nearly a year ago and have not had a problem with it the lathe is pretty solid for the price and I have used it to turn items from materials such as unevenly formed logs to natural edge bowls and hollow forms even with the hardest australian hardwood this thing does not back down, with a chuck added to the lathe this thing gets the job done it is a shame that tool shed does not stock stands to suit this lathe and would be nice to see a bigger wood lathe with a pivoting headstock added to the product range.

    Great

    The lathe is very well made the plastic gear cover look a little flimsy but I've had no issues I thought the plastic locking handles on the tool rest banjo and tail stock would cause problems but I've had none all round this is a great mini lathe for na aspiring wood Turner
