ToolShed Portable 330mm Thicknesser with Stand (TSTH07)

This thicknesser features a two-speed feed rate to give you more control over how much timber you're removing and how quickly you're doing it. This machine runs at a massive 9000RPM and can handle a variety of different timbers up to 330mm wide with a maximum thickness of 152mm or minimum thickness of 5mm. This unit has superb accuracy, employing a 4-post screw system to keep the cutter head as level as possible and includes a head lock system, preventing movement under load, even with a heavy cut.

The ToolShed Portable Thicknesser is fitted with a digital read out which can give you an accurate measurement of the cutter height and can be used to measure the cut being made each pass through. You can work safer due to the anti-kickback fingers which prevent the wood from flying back at you in the event of a lock up.

This machine comes with a sturdy stand but can also be bench mounted for a more permanent position.
Please Note: This model does not include a dust extractor, it is strongly recommended due to the volume of dust produced from woodworking machines, to use a method of dust extraction. This model does feature a 100mm dust extraction port which is perfect for use with a ToolShed Dust Extractor (sold separately).
