The ToolShed 15hp Petrol Powered Chipper/Shredder is powered by a very reliable 15hp engine. Easy to start, fuel efficient, and reliable, this chipper/shredder can chip up to 100mm in diameter depending on type and hardness of the wood, keeping in mind that dry hardwoods such as manuka and mapou will need to be significantly smaller to chip effectively. This makes it great for turning pruning's or garden foliage into ground cover to help retain water and keep weeds down. The discharge/outlet on this machine is at a height that makes it easier to load wheelbarrows and trailers while also helping to reduce a build-up of mulch under the machine. The large inlet chute on the ToolShed Petrol Powered Chipper/Shredder makes it ideal for throwing in all sorts of branches, leaves, and foliage to instantly mulch it up.

This chipper/shredder complies with all the safety requirements for NZ. This includes an emergency engine cut out that will shut the engine down in case of emergency and the inlet / outlet chutes being made to a certain length to ensure you cannot get your arm or hand near the blades while the unit is running.

If you end up with a blockage, you can easily hinge the cover back and clear it safely. This also allows for easy access to sharpen and change the blades. The large wheels with rubber tires, and handle makes this machine very easy to move around the garden and the compact design means you can store it easily without taking up too much space.

As this tool features an Auto Chain Bar Oiling system, it is highly recommended that you empty the reservoir after every use as it works via a gravity-fed system. The oil will continue to leak from the tool if not emptied.
