DeWalt Portable Thicknesser 330mm

This has got to be the very best portable thicknesser in the world, the quality of this machine is unbelievable.

This thicknesser has got a massively powerful 1800w motor letting it handle the full 330mm cut with ease. It also drives a 3 knife cutter head, this operates at 10000 RPM delivering 30% longer knife life and makes knife change faster and easier.
All of this is supported by a large, all-threaded, four-post design ensuring that the head moves up in sync to stop any gouging of the material. This is plugged into a base that is twice the size of a standard 10" thicknesser, making it twice as sturdy and robust.

This machine comes with a unique 2 speed feed, from 4m to 8m per minute. This changes the machine from 171cuts per inch to 96 cuts per inch, or dimensioning mode versus finishing mode. Just switch it to dimensioning if you need to remove a lot of material, and flick it back when you need a beautiful fine finish.

This machine also features fan-assisted chip ejection, which vacuums chips off the cutter-head and exhausts them out the back.
A material removal gauge and extra-large thickness scale deliver accurate cuts with every pass, as well as a large turret depth stop that allows user to return to most frequently used thicknesses settings easily.

And finally, an automatic carriage lock reduces the movement that causes snipe, without the need for manual engagement by the user.
